Pipelines

Energy and Power provides operationally-focussed engineering design teams to work closely with refinery owners to implement the best process technologies leading to the highest operational and economic efficiencies.

Our pipeline experience covers everything from oil and gas gathering lines to major cross-country multi-products pipelines high-pressure steam lines to cryogenic and subsea LNG lines, highway, river and rail crossings to sea outfalls. In all these areas we carry out flow assurance, stress analysis, capacity and corrosion protection design.

Whether crossings are by directional drilling, pipejacking, compressed-air or machine dug tunnelling, we have the expert knowledge to plan and design for the most appropriate cost time efficient method.

Pipeline routeing is a complex affair, with long-term environmental concerns and the short-term disruptions of construction weighed against the technical drivers of operation and maintenance. With experience in all relevant areas, Energy and Power can conduct the environmental research needed and provide the informed and reasoned assessments required by national legislation of countries worldwide.

Underpinning all is the same consistent, structured cost, project and procurement management that ensures a clear, guided route to commercially successful projects.
