Energy and Power developed just such a project management system, giving demonstrable control, a sequential decision-making process, and an overall audit record. And its protocols and procedures are operated by experienced, industry-recognised engineers and business professionals. Those protocols have been utilised and refined across all our business sectors and in business cultures worldwide.

With Professor Tony Day of London South Bank University, Energy and Power has further developed and formally published that rigorous, gated project management system. At each decision gate - from project definition, through scope development, feasibility, front-end engineering and onwards – the documentation and design information required to allow fully informed executive judgements is defined and delivered. Schedule and cost are progressively more closely defined, and risk is managed and diminished – utilising industry-standard scheduling tools and specialist, in-house cost management software.
